FAQ
- What is the difference from an invoice?
- An invoice asks for payment. A receipt records a payment you already received.
- Can I copy another store’s receipt?
- No. This makes one plain receipt for your own business’s sales.
- Which details are kept?
- Your business details, logo, currency, and last receipt number stay in this browser. When you download or print, we keep the items and amounts, with names and addresses removed.
- Does it work offline?
- Once the page has loaded, the receipt and its PDF are made in your browser.
- How is tax calculated?
- Tax is (item subtotal − discount) × the rate you enter, rounded to the nearest cent; shipping is added separately, and the tool does not determine the correct tax rate, taxable items or shipping, or your location-specific or individual tax obligations.
